Commitment towards women empowerment through its R- Day tableau

  India Post has been serving the nation since the last 167 years, standing unabated in its dedication and undying passion of rendering postal, financial and government services, in the remotest corners of the country. As the nation celebrates   Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav ,   commemorating the seventy fifth year of independence, India Post, through the Republic-Day tableaux, has attempted to reaffirm its commitment towards women empowerment both within and through the Post offices. THE THEME OF INDIA POST R-DAY TABLEAUX IS  “ INDIA POST:75 YEARS@ RESOLVE-WOMEN EMPOWERMENT”   The tableaux shall showcase the following elements: FRONT PORTION: India Post stands as a model employer of women and with its mandate for financial inclusion almost 50% account holders of the India Post Payments Bank as well as the Post Office Savings Bank are women.   The tableau displays the robust outreach and the modern face of India Post that ties the entire country in one thread and aims to portray its focus on


  India’s merchandise exports in April-November 2021 was USD 263.78 billion which is 65.95% of export target of USD 400 billion for 2021-22, while till October 2021, merchandise exports was USD 233.90 billion. Government has increased the present period of realization and repatriation of the amount representing the full export value of goods or software or services exported from nine months to fifteen months from the date of export, for the exports made up to or on July 31, 2020. In addition,  the Government has taken the following measures to boost exports throughout the country, including Gujarat: The mid-term review (2017) of the Foreign Trade Policy (2015-20) was carried out and corrective measures were undertaken. Foreign Trade Policy (2015-20) extended by one year i.e. upto 31-3-2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation. Assistance provided through several schemes to promote exports, namely, Trade Infrastructure for Export Scheme (TIES) and Market Access Initiatives (MAI) Schem

Studies through Online and Multimedia

  To facilitate the online learning by all students a comprehensive initiative called PM eVIDYA has been initiated as part of AtmaNirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan on 17th May, 2020, which unifies all efforts related to digital/online/on-air education to enable multi-mode access to education. The initiative includes: DIKSHA the nation’s digital infrastructure for providing quality e-content for school education in states/UTs and QR coded Energized Textbooks for all grades  (one nation, one digital platform).  Till date (25.11.2021) DIKSHA has more than 402 crores learning sessions, more than 4,844 crore learning minutes and more than 2,730 crores page hits with more than 5 crore average daily page hits. A total of  2,27,704 pieces of e-contents are live on DIKSHA as on date.
