News and Updates

Social Media is effecting human life in many aspects like health, family relations, etc. So,I'll be discussing each aspect in detail below. Firstly, I would like to describe or define what is a social media, many of them may be know that, but I would just like to mention that. WHAT IS SOCIAL MEDIA? Social Media is a platform,computer-based technology that facilitates the sharing of ideas, thoughts and information through the building of virtual networks and communities.  Social media originated as a way to interact with friends and family but was later adopted by businesses that wanted to take advantage of a popular new communication method to reach out to customers. The power of social media is the ability to connect and share information with anyone on Earth, or with many people simultaneously. There are different types of social media namely, Social networks,Social news, Microblogging ,Bookmarking sites,Media sharing,Community blogs, social review sites, video hosting sites,Image shar

Online education during covid 19

Due to the covid 19 pandemic all over the world the education institution are closed. Now, Students do not need to get up early in the Morning for school, there is no more morning PT classes and no more scolding of teachers. But the education will not stop there; Indian education system has turned towards delivery of education via the internet — or online education. Teachers are using online platforms like Google classroom, zoom, skypy, whatApp for classes. Online classes ensuring that education will not stop due to corona virus. We human have not experience this before and most of us were not prepared for it sure. It’s a first time experience for all.

Research suggests that online learning has been shown to increase retention of information, and take less time, meaning the changes corona virus have caused might be here to stay.

There are many online platforms are providing free courses and online classes to help the students during this pandemics.

As it is a new experience for students so it has both positives and negatives impact on students

I would like to talk about positive side of it, now students do not have to travel for attending the classes now they can attend classes in their phone, it will save their time and students can use that time for self studies or for other activities. Another plus point is there is a button of mute on online platforms which help in muting the unwanted sound and noise from background that is not possible in a normal classroom it help both the teachers and students to actively focused on class.

However the other side of E-education is: as it’s an online platform teacher is not able to keep eyes on students plus not able to know who all are actively attending the classes. It will make student introvert as there is less changes of interacting with everyone. There is possibility that students only attend the classes that they want to attend it will impact the attendance of students.

Some students without reliable internet access and/or technology struggle to participate in digital learning. The Indian youth are also characterized by limited digital skills. Only 17.6 per cent of the youth could use a computer and 18.4 per cent could access internet. Especially the rural children do not have the online facilities like access of internet even some do not have mobiles and computers.

I can conclude it by saying that E-education is a good way of delivery education to students during this time but of now it is only urban quintiles in India are the somehow ready for online education. Government education policy during the covid19 needs a more egalitarian means of delivering education. The emphasis on online education has to be accompanied with changes in curriculum, textbooks, teacher training, examination systems and pedagogy. And most important to access basic facilities to rural children of online education, only than country like India will able to use E education as a way of delivery education to students.

Doctrine of Notional Extension under the Workmen Compensation Act, 1923

There is no problem in detecting that the accident occurred in the course of employment when a workman is injured in the working place and in the working hour and doing his duty. The problem arises when these elements do not coincide together. But a workmen if injured just near the work premises or just before joining the work or in the way to work problem arises. To address this kind of problem and giving some kind of relief to the workmen the theory of notional extension evolved. “As a rule, the employment of a workman does not commence until he has reached the place of employment and does not continue when he has left the place of employment, the journey to and from the place of employment being excluded. It is now well-settled, however, that this is subject to the theory of notional extension of the employer’s premises so as to include an area which the workman passes and repasses in going to and in leaving the actual place of work. There may be some reasonable extension in bot

Peace - A Way Of Life

To be peaceful is the sign of a conqueror.  We have often heard people saying 'follow the path of peace and you will be happy', 'preach peace' and many other phrases emphasising on a way of living- Peace. But what is it really about?  With reference of the holy Bible, peace is defined with notions like  totality or completeness, success, fulfillment, wholeness, harmony, security and well being.  The definition of peace changes with mindsets of people. For one, it is a sense of accomplishment, non- violence for another, salvation to a few and a lot more to others. But what peace exactly is? And how can we attain it? Peace is acceptance. A vision of seeing things and extracting optimism out of it. Peace makes life easier. To be satisfied is what peace is. To be able to look back at your life and accept all its darks and jewels is what peace feels like. Peace is a state of mind where your soul feels calm, free from the dirt of hatred, negativity, criticism, inferiority and
